宇宙の反対側で「おめー」とかいうメッセージが飛び交っているのだろうが,日本ローカルな話ではなく気になるのはこの点.
- 取締役だったBarak Berkowitzが会長兼CEOに就任。それに伴いCEOだった創業者のMena Trottは社長兼共同創業者になりました。
- 仏Ublog社を買収しました。それに伴いUblogのCEOだったLoic Le Meurが執行副社長兼欧州・中東・アフリカ担当ジェネラル・マネージャに就任しました。
1の点についていえばMena Trottの声明文が興味深い
Mena Trott, Six Apart's co-founder and president, said she and company co- founder Benjamin Trott wanted to bring executive bench strength to the company in order to fulfill their vision for the company. "Ben and I want Six Apart to reach the goal we envisioned when we first started the company: to build and grow a successful company with the best suite of weblogging tools and services. At the same time we have always wanted to surround ourselves with individuals who share a similar expertise and passion for the space. We believe that we have found those qualities in the carefully chosen executives who are joining Six Apart."
なんというかcompanyを連呼するお方になってしまったのか.(直接知っているわけではないが)
ある時代の終わりというべきか.
2のUblog買収といい,Six Apartも普通の会社になってしまったということか.いつかは通る道だが,なり方が速すぎるんじゃないかな?
正直,なにか違うものが欲しくなってきてるなあ.それが何かはわからないけど.
