Net上で発生したNewがInternet上を流れて最終的にOffline Mediaに流れ着くまでの流れを図解してます.なんでもSource(new artcle,blog entry)からOffline Mediaの間には
- MetaNews(SlashDot,BoingBoingといったNews系のサイト)
- Greater Blogosphere(basically just a high traffic blogだそうで)
- Lesser Blogosphere(ふつーのblog)
- Blog Indexing(these are services that show what’s popular based on how many people link to it in a certain period.)
- Dark Matter(IM,IRCとか.ここの情報は外部からは観測できないからか?)
が挟まっていて,その下に
- Traditional “Big” Online Media(MSNBC.com,CNN.com)
が来るとか.
ようするに"Blogは進んでいるんだぞ"という主張のようです.
日本の場合はどうなんでしょう?勝手な考察として
- Blog発のNewsがメジャーまでは行かない
- Greater Blogosphereとまで言えるほどのものは存在しない
- Blog indexingはない.その代わり反応リンク集やBlukFeedsが使われている.
- MetaNews(特に2ch)がBlogosphereに対して圧倒的な優勢を保っている
というところかなあ.
